Description
Woodland Middle School at Euharlee is excited to host its annual Veteran's Day Celebration on Friday, November 10. This year's festivities will include a special breakfast for veterans, an armed forces parade, an essay contest for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, as well as performances by the Woodland Middle School Band and Chorus. Additionally, military vehicles will be on display for veterans, parents, and students alike. The Adairsville High School J.R.O.T.C. will conduct a Presentation of Colors at the beginning of the event and a slide show will be presented featuring veterans from students’ families. New this year will be a POW (Prisoner of War) Presentation given by the American Legion. The community is invited to attend!
