Job Summary
The Barista for GHC Charger Central provides customers with prompt service, quality beverages, and products, while maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Providing legendary customer service to all customers contributes to the unit's success.
Responsibilities
•
Is responsible for understanding, support, and carrying out the college's mission, vision, and values and compliance with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies'
•
Follows college and store operating policies and procedures
•
Engages with customers and responds to customer needs by delivering legendary customer service
•
Provides quality beverages and food products according to standard recipes or customized by request
•
Anticipates customer and store needs by evaluating environment and customers cues
•
Communicates information to manager
•
Assists with new employee training
•
Follows First In, First Out (FIFO) methods and health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
•
Maintains a clean and organized workspace
•
Assists with replenishing Charger Central during downtime
•
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
•
Must have knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
•
•
Experience as a barista in a fast-food establishment
•
•
Must have or have ability to achieve ServSafe certification
Preferred Qualifications
•
Undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
•
ServeSafe Certification
Proposed Salary
$15.00 per hour
This position is a partially benefit eligible position.
