Assists with daily living activities in a daytime non-residential facility. Provides training of basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills to persons-served in a workshop, the community or supported employment environment.

General Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists in presentation of educational group lectures related to appropriate topics
- Cares for persons-served and families during period of incapacitation, providing companionship, personal care, and help in adjusting to new lifestyles
- Instructs persons-served on daily living skills in one-on-one or group instruction
- May advise persons-served on behavioral problems, daily decision-making, and the resolution of minor problems
- Participates in case reviews and ISP meetings
- Prepares and maintains records of persons-served progress and services performed, reporting changes in persons-served condition to manager or supervisor
- Provides transportation for persons-served to appointments and activities
