Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center Expands Access to Women’s Healthcare with New OB/GYN Practice
Cartersville, Ga. (July 7, 2026) — Piedmont is expanding access to women’s healthcare in Bartow County with the opening of Piedmont Physicians OB/GYN at Cartersville, a new practice led by board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Jessica Castleberry. The practice is now accepting new patients and offers comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care tailored to women at every stage of life.
The opening of Piedmont Physicians OB/GYN at Cartersville reflects Piedmont’s commitment to meeting the growing healthcare needs of women throughout Northwest Georgia by providing greater access to high-quality, personalized care close to home.

Dr. Castleberry provides a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services, including preventive care, annual wellness exams, pregnancy care, cervical cancer screening and treatment, menopause management, family planning, and contraceptive services. Her clinical interests include pre-invasive cervical cancer screening and treatment, robotic and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and menopause care.
Patients will also have access to a variety of convenient in-office procedures, including endometrial biopsies, colposcopy with cervical biopsy when indicated, vulvar biopsies, skin tag and mole removal, intrauterine device (IUD) placement, and Nexplanon insertion.
