Bartow County Transit Development Plan Open House

The Open House will focus on options for expanding the services of the Bartow County Transit Department. At present, the service operates on a 24-hour notice of the need for a transport and the service meets one at the door and drops them off at their destination.
Options under consideration include the addition of fixed routes within the community, a commuter route connecting Bartow County with metro Atlanta express bus services, and expansion of the hours of service, among others.
No formal presentations will be made during the event. Guests are welcome to stay as long as they like. Informative displays will be posted about the study and persons knowledgeable about the study will be available to answer any questions.
