Meet Kendall
In August 2016, 20-year-old Kendall Brooke Womack began her 1st semester of nursing school at Shorter University. After several months of being sick, Kendall was diagnosed with Mono-MAC, a very rare genetic disease, on January 17, 2017. Her disease will turn into leukemia if left untreated. Now, Kendall's best hope for a cure is a marrow transplant, but first, she must find a matching marrow donor. By not having a matching marrow donor in her family, Kendall currently does not have the option of receiving a potentially life-saving marrow transplant. Please join the marrow donor registry to see if you can be the cure for Kendall or another patient like her.
