Presidents Across America: A Hands-On History Day invites families to see the nation through the lives of its presidents - without leaving Cartersville. Participants will journey state by state through interactive activities that blend art, movement, and history, including building a D.C.-inspired monument, crafting Lincoln-era portraits in Illinois, designing bold Pop Art postcards from California, racing through a Texas ranch obstacle course, and creating a commemorative medal celebrating Georgia’s own Jimmy Carter. It’s an energetic, creative way to experience U.S. history together, presented jointly with the Booth Western Art Museum.
Registration deadline is Friday, February 13 at 5 p.m.; ages 4 and up; child admission $6, adult admission $5. Register Online.
