Job Overview

As a Recruiter, you will recruit qualified Class A CDL drivers to join the Kennesaw transportation family. This role builds relationships, guides candidates through the hiring process, and clearly communicates our opportunities, expectations, and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Find and attract qualified drivers through job boards, social media, referrals, and outreach.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and conduct initial phone interviews.
• Review applications for company hiring qualifications and coordinate required background and safety checks.
• Explain pay, benefits, routes, home time, and job expectations accurately.
• Coordinate with safety and operations to move candidates through hiring and orientation.
• Maintain accurate applicant records and regular follow-up.
• Meet recruiting goals while prioritizing driver quality, safety, and long-term retention.
• Represent Kennesaw with professionalism, honesty, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

• Previous recruiting experience preferred, ideally in trucking or transportation.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple applicants and meet hiring goals.
• Comfortable using computers, recruiting software, and social media.
• Familiarity with Class A CDL qualifications and DOT hiring requirements preferred.

Pay: $50,800.00 - $51,200.00 per year
