Tire Tech

Tire Tech – Starting at $20.00 per hour
Maintain all tires on trucks and trailers in the yard. Ensure all tires meet or exceed DOT and Kennesaw Transportation requirements and are in good, safe condition.

1. Mount and dismount tires as directed and in accordance with the tire manufacturer’s recommendations.
2. Work with truck and trailer technicians to assist with tire-related work.
3. Maintain an inventory of all new and used tires.
4. Perform weekly yard checks to assess tires on trucks and trailers, and repair or replace tires as needed.
5. Track and assist with all test tire programs, and report any problems or concerns to the appropriate individuals or companies.
6. Follow all company policies and safety rules, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment that meets or exceeds OSHA and Kennesaw Transportation standards and expectations.
